How to: Buy hair from AliExpress.

Shopping on AliExpress is very overwhelming, especially when you are new to online shopping. So many vendors selling the same thing. In this post I breakdown my process of ordering hair online.

1. Know what you are looking for. I usually type in the type of hair I’m looking for then I scroll down the vendors and compare prices.

2. Look out for hair that has been bought by many people, the more buyers and reviews you have, the more informed your purchase decision and vendors that have a good rating. A good rating is anything from 4+.

3. Read reviews, especially those written by customers in your country. I like how AliExpress allows the user to filter reviews by country just click on your country’s flag.

4. Check the percentage of overall positive feedback of the vendor as well as the number of followers the vendor has on their site. This will give an indication to whether the vendor is a new brand or if they have been around for a while.

5. Ask people around you for feedback about their experience buying hair on AliExpress.

Bonus tip: Watch reviews by local Youtubers who are in the hair niche and follow the links they leave in their description boxes on YouTube. This is probably the best way especially for first time buyers to find reputable vendors and you can see the hair for yourself before buying.
